Raúl will appear in the day-long Wall to Wall Stephen Sondheim event at Symphony Space's Peter Jay Sharp Theatre on March 19. Admission is free and doors open at 10:30 a.m. He will also appear at Stephen Sondheim's 75th birthday celebration benefitting Young Playwrights, Inc. on March 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the New Amsterdam Theatre. See the Projects section for information on both events.

A film about the last season on Broadway will premiere at this year's Tribeca Film Festival in April that features Taboo and includes Raúl and Euan Morton. Watch this space and www.tribecafilmfestival.org as information becomes available.

The recording of the Actors' Fund Benefit of Hair is available for pre-sale at www.sh-k-boom.com and is expected to ship by the end of this month. Proceeds will benefit the Actors' Fund of America.

Raúl received an Outer Critics Circle Award Nomination (Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical) for his performance in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Chitty received ten nominations all together. Click here for a complete list of nominees. The winners will be announced on May 9.

Raúl is scheduled to participate in the American Theatre Wing's "Working in the Theatre" Seminars. The Performance seminar will be held on May 12 at noon at the CUNY Graduate Center. Click here for the complete list of panelists and ticketing information.

Raúl will appear in this year's annual Broadway Under The Stars concert in Bryant Park on Monday, June 13 at 8:30 p.m. The evening's "Broadway's Leading Men" lineup will also include Norbert Leo Butz, Michael Cerveris, Hunter Foster, Victor Garber, Cheyenne Jackson, Marc Kudisch, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Christopher Sieber, and Tom Wopat. Bryant Park is located on Sixth Avenue between 40th and 42nd Street in midtown Manhattan. The lawn will open at 6:00 p.m.

The Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) will present its sixth annual awards ceremony and benefit celebrating Latinos in entertainment on Monday, September 19, 2005 at 6:30pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South). Among the honorees scheduled to attend are Esaí Morales (NYPD Blue, La Bamba), Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King, Woman Before A Glass), Raúl Esparza (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Emilio Delgado (Sesame Street), Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street), Maria Hinojosa (CNN correspondent), and Rafael Pineda (Noticias41 anchor).

HOLA is an arts service and advocacy organization that promotes accurate and non-stereotypical portrayals of Hispanic culture in the arts and media.

Raul Esparza and Marc Kudisch, currently starring in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Broadway, will be making aural cameos in NYMF's upcoming Yank!

The two perform a scene in a intentionally melodromatic war picture "The Lookout's Nest", watched by the soldier characters in Yank during a "movie night" scene in the second act. This movie-within-a-musical is a gentle spoof of the type of propaganda films Hollywood produced during WWII extolling the virtues of comeraderie, and the strenght that comes from American diversity.
