A film about the last season on Broadway will premiere at this year's Tribeca Film Festival in April that features Taboo and includes Raúl and Euan Morton. Watch this space and www.tribecafilmfestival.org as information becomes available.

Raúl received an Outer Critics Circle Award Nomination (Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical) for his performance in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Chitty received ten nominations all together. Click here for a complete list of nominees. The winners will be announced on May 9.

Raúl is scheduled to participate in the American Theatre Wing's "Working in the Theatre" Seminars. The Performance seminar will be held on May 12 at noon at the CUNY Graduate Center. Click here for the complete list of panelists and ticketing information.

The Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) will present its sixth annual awards ceremony and benefit celebrating Latinos in entertainment on Monday, September 19, 2005 at 6:30pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South). Among the honorees scheduled to attend are Esaí Morales (NYPD Blue, La Bamba), Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King, Woman Before A Glass), Raúl Esparza (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Emilio Delgado (Sesame Street), Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street), Maria Hinojosa (CNN correspondent), and Rafael Pineda (Noticias41 anchor).

HOLA is an arts service and advocacy organization that promotes accurate and non-stereotypical portrayals of Hispanic culture in the arts and media.

Raúl will participate in the BC/EFA Flea Market Celebrity Table during the 1:00-2:00 p.m. hour on September 25. Please see the BC/EFA site for more information.

Raul Esparza and Marc Kudisch, currently starring in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Broadway, will be making aural cameos in NYMF's upcoming Yank!

The two perform a scene in a intentionally melodromatic war picture "The Lookout's Nest", watched by the soldier characters in Yank during a "movie night" scene in the second act. This movie-within-a-musical is a gentle spoof of the type of propaganda films Hollywood produced during WWII extolling the virtues of comeraderie, and the strenght that comes from American diversity. On Sunday evening, September 25 at 8:30 PM, the New York theatrical community will join forces in one of the most important evenings of the season. In an incredible demonstration of support and camaraderie, scores of Broadway performers will take the stage at the Gershwin Theatre (222 W. 51st St.) for Broadway's Celebrity Benefit for Hurricane Relief. 100% of the profits from this spectacular event will go directly to America's Second Harvest and Quilts for Kids, two charitable organizations working directly with the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The American Theatre Wing has announced the recipients of the 48th annual American Theatre Wing Grants to New York not-for-profit theatre companies and support organizations. The grants will be presented at a holiday luncheon celebration on Thursday, December 1st, 2005 at 12 PM at Sardi's.

Friends and colleagues of the American Theatre Wing join in the festivities, congratulating the honored theatrical organizations for their continuing commitment to the quality of theatre and training.
